Will be responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and disorders that affect women, such as breast cancer, cervical cancer and menopause. The Physician –OB/GYN works with expecting mothers throughout their pregnancies, during childbirth and into postpartum. Responsibilities of the position also include performing annual examinations, collecting and documenting patient medical histories and providing counseling on diet, hygiene, sexual health and disease prevention. The position requires: medical degree (M.D., D.O., or foreign equivalent); successful completion of residency in obstetrics and gynecology or admission as a member of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in obstetrics and gynecology; must have or be eligible for licensure to practice medicine from the State of Wisconsin; must be eligible for hospital and health plan privileges, and may not at any time have been or be excluded from participation in any federally funded program, including Medicare and Medicaid.
