Physician Office RN, McLeod Cardiology Associates

Founded in 1906, McLeod Health is a locally owned and managed, not for profit organization supported by the strength of more than 900 members on its medical staff and more than 2,900 licensed nurses. McLeod Health is also composed of approximately 15,000 team members and more than 90 physician practices throughout its 18-county service area. With seven hospitals, McLeod Health operates three Health and Fitness Centers, a Sports Medicine and Outpatient Rehabilitation Center, Hospice and Home Health Services. The system currently has 988 licensed beds, including Hospice and Behavioral Health. The hospitals within McLeod Health include: McLeod Regional Medical Center, McLeod Health Dillon, McLeod Health Loris, McLeod Health Seacoast, McLeod Health Cheraw, McLeod Health Clarendon and McLeod Behavioral Health.

2. Fosters an environment that demonstrates caring, compassion, and respect for all patients, families, visitors and

co-workers.

3. Demonstrates proficiency in use of all medical equipment in the office.

4. Adheres to procedural checklists for administering all immunizations/injections.

5. Ensures that all examination rooms are clean and fully stocked with supplies, including replacing any expired supplies.

6. Calls patients from the waiting area using appropriate title and last name to a clean, well-stocked examination room.

7. Obtains and accurately documents vital signs and confirms chief complaint.

8. Triages and performs in-house diagnostic testing according to orders.

9. Manages patient workflow in the clinical area.

10. Serves as a clinical team lead for office.

11. Provides support and assistance as needed to patients, nurses, physicians, and other staff.

12. Participates proactively in problem solving and process improvement activities through collaboration with clinical

teams using Evidence Based Practices.

13. Demonstrates continued professional growth through goal setting and participation in educational offerings.

14. Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Job Requirements

Qualifications /Training:

1 year of related work experience preferred.

 

Licenses/Certifications/Registrations/Education:

Must possess a valid SC license- RN

BLS required
