The University of Kansas Health System- St. Francis is thriving, growing, and hiring a new full-time PM&R physiatrist to join our comprehensive rehabilitation services team in beautiful Topeka, Kansas. 

Our rehabilitation specialists provide physical therapy to help improve fine motor skills, speech therapy for communication skills, and pain management services during patient rehabilitation. Our inpatient rehab unit offers 36 beds and our outpatient rehabilitation clinic offers a team of dedicated therapists committed to complete patient wellbeing.

The ideal candidate is team-oriented and a good communicator with staff, providers, and patients with attention to detail with patients and documentation. A physiatrist who is flexible and responsible will thrive in this team-oriented clinic team proud of its open communication, accountability amongst staff and providers, and relaxed atmosphere.

About this inpatient/outpatient PM&R Job Opening:

Full-Time Employment (1.0 FTE)

Inpatient and Outpatient Setting

Single-Specialty Group: 1 physician, 1 part-time physician assistant, and supporting LPN

On-Site Procedure Room; EMG is done in the clinic and other services at the hospital

Schedule: Monday-Friday, with 4 hours dedicated admin time

Clinic Schedule is Flexible with Hospital Rounding

Daily Patient Load: 18-20

Clinic Call: 5 days per month (no hospital call)

EMR: Epic

Minimum Qualifications:

ABPMR board-certified or eligible

Both experienced and graduating physiatrists are welcome to apply
