Physician Practice Lead

Full Time

Under the direction of the Practice Manager, the Physician Practice Lead is responsible for assisting with day-to-day operations and management of the practice. Daily interaction with the Physician and specialists.  Frequent contact with the Practice Manager.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

·         Responsible for assisting in the development and operation of physician practice programs under the direction of the Practice Manager.

 

·         Collaborates and consults with Practice Manager on services, contracts and issues as needed.

 

·         Assists with day-to-day supervision of staff and programs.

 

·         Assists Practice Manager with program needs as assigned.

 

·         Shares responsibility for practice effectiveness and quality of services with Practice Manager.

 

·         Supports manager so that regulations are being met:  HIPAA, OSHA, and Employment Law. 

 

·         Works with manager to resolve any compliance issues of patients or staff.

 

·         Assists with day-to-day practice operations.

Minimum Education, Training and Experience Required:

The following qualifications are the minimum requirements necessary to adequately perform this job.  However, any equivalent combination of experience, education and training which provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities would be acceptable, subject to any legal and/or regulatory requirements.

 

High School Diploma or GED requiredMinimum of two years healthcare experience requiredKnowledge of OSHA regulations, safety standards, and other relevant areasHealth care management or supervisory experience preferred
