General Summary:The Physician Practice, Staff Nurse is responsible to assess, plan, direct, administer, teach, and evaluate nursing care; to ensure quality and efficiency according to established policies and procedures, and especially the performance of job-related technical skills. Nurses will be required to manage the message center and enter data into EHR, evaluate OARRS reports and calculate medication due dates based on this report in addition to information obtained from physician plan of care. Nurses will be required to propose prescriptions to providers based on this information.

Occ Health Essential Functions/Position Specific Duties
Knowledge and understanding of state and federal laws related to Worker’s Compensation (BWC), Federal Motor Carrier (FMCSA aka DOT) guidelines, OSHA workplace compliance, and any governmental compliance programs directing Occupational Health policies and procedures. Conduct physical exams, BWC visits, drug and alcohol testing, respirator fit tests, vision tests, hearing tests, blood draws, Spirometry tests, Tb screenings, vaccinations, and any other required services performed through our Occupational Health Program Able to schedule physical exams, BWC appointments, drug screens, or any other service provided by Occupational Health as needed. Medication/vaccine inventory and Supply management including ordering, maintaining stocking levels, stock rotation. Ordering and receiving vaccines and medications, and maintains monthly vaccine inventory and waste logs for the multiple locations. Communicates effectively with client company representatives & their employees, fellow staff members, physicians/medical professionals, and other internal and external parties. Maintain required clinical logs for monthly inspections, documentation of calibrations, employee certifications, compliance reports, and any clinical documentation to maintain compliance with BWC, FMCSA, DOT and OSHA requirements as well as FTMC policies. Oversee the on-hand supply of Chain-of-Custody Forms, Breath Alcohol Forms, and testing supplies at multiple Occupational Health Clinic as well as the FTMC Lab/ER, and our Willard location. Is an active member/participant in the Occupational Health Corporate Advisory Committee and assists the manager with subject matter, meeting follow-up, clinical expertise, and ongoing support as the committee evolves. Team Player who is able to work well with a high functioning team with consistent quality and efficient workflows. Strong understanding of prioritization, and having timely workflows to meet established and expected timelines.
