POSITION TITLE: Psychiatrist POSITION DUTIES: Diagnose and treat patients with mental, emotional, and behavioral health disorders, utilizing a variety of psychotherapeutic methods and medications. Refer patients to appropriate medical specialists when indicated. EDUCATION: Medical degree or foreign equivalent in Medicine TRAINING: 48 month psychiatry residency. Number of months of training required is dependent upon the number of months necessary to complete medical training leading to completion of a medical residency program in psychiatry. LICENSE: North Dakota state medical license or ability to obtain.
