The candidate will join the faculty of our interdisciplinary collaborative academic medical center, and supervise and teach residents, medical students and other trainees. This is a full-time position with academic rank and salary commensurate with experience. The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Rush University Medical Center is recruiting a full-time psychiatrist for a position at Rush Oak Park Hospital, in Oak Park, IL. Eligible candidates should be American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology board certified or eligible and possess a strong clinical background with a broad range of psychiatric disorders. The position is for a general psychiatrist with the allocation of 0.6 FTE for consultation-liaison psychiatry and emergency psychiatry and 0.4 FTE for outpatient psychiatry. Inpatient duties would include seeing patients in the emergency room, general medical floor, and intensive care setting at ROPH. The candidate would have opportunities to work with Rush University Medical Students. This total pay range is for a full-time, 1.0 FTE employee, and includes any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role.
