**Job Description** **Location:** Chicago, IL **Hospital:** RUSH University Medical Center **Department:** Surgery - Colon and Rectal **Colon and Rectal Surgery - Clinical Faculty** **Rush University Medical Center** **Chicago, IL** **Rush University Medical Center,** a nationally recognized clinical and academic institution and the teaching hospital for Rush Medical and Nursing Colleges, located in downtown Chicago, invites applications for the position of **Colon and Rectal Surgery Clinical Faculty.** Candidates must be board certified in General Surgery and board certified/board eligible in Colon and Rectal Surgery. The predominant criteria for appointment are: a major commitment to research, teaching, and patient satisfaction, excellence in clinical care, and institutional service. Experience in all aspects of colon and rectal surgery is highly desired. The ideal candidate for this position is a colorectal surgeon with experience in advanced laparoscopy and robotics. Candidates should be eligible for a faculty appointment at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary program including GI tumor board as well as inflammatory bowel disease multidisciplinary clinic.
