Physicist (Optical Microscopy)

Job Description 

We are seeking a highly talented and motivated Physicist to join our R&D team in building the next-generation optical microscopy system.

Our Group: [ Physics group]  

Physicists in our team are responsible for designing and developing optical scanning microscopy systems and detectors. 

 

What you'll be doing: 

Be part of a R&D development team working on the state-of-the-art optical microscopy 

Specify, design, test, and integrate Optical modules with optical microscopy tool. 

Verify design compliance and module functionality as part of a tool while working closely with engineers from multiple disciplines such as system, mechanical, and control engineers.   

Collaborating with leading optical designers and leading companies for the design and manufacturing of high-end optics. 

 

What you should have? 

B.Sc. or higher in Physics/Electrical Engineering.  

>3 Years of hands-on experience in optical laboratory work and optical measurements    

Good familiarity with the optical design process and design principles 

Matlab/Python experience 

 

Advantage: 

>2 years experience as a physicist/optical or system engineer of an optical systems  

Good understanding of optics / optical systems/microscopy principles 

Knowledge of electro-optics characterization methods 

Track record of leading a development project
