In the group of Wafer Defectivity at ASML, we try to minimize the amount of dust particles deposited onto silicon wafers, which can result in the final product: the computer chip (partially) not working. We search for the particle sources in our NXE system and find structural solutions so that issues do not reoccur.
In this assignment you will support the team in the field of particle bouncing to better understand the particle transport and trapping in our products. Your responsibilities will be simulation work.
Your tasks may include:
Prepare and run simulations for different scenarios for particle transport and trapping;
Conduct data analysis and evaluate the findings;
Report out the results to several stakeholders within ASML for technical decision making;
Collaborate with several stakeholders and support senior engineers.
