Summary

We are looking to hire a Physics Content Developer to join us in our mission to educate the world. The successful candidate will be an integral member of a team creating physics content that appears on our digital education platforms. A significant component of the job will be writing audience-appropriate content and identifying areas where content needs to be improved or added.

ResponsibilitiesWrite and review academic content to ensure it is developmentally suitable, well-structured, and appropriate for students learning physicsAnalyze textbooks and curricula to derive course structure and plan contentIdentify topics where content needs to be added or improved to incorporate relevant and engaging materialsReview phyiscs content translated into Arabic to guarantee that the translated content is of high quality and meets the linguistic and cultural needs of the target learners (if applicable)Develop assessments and learning objectives to measure student progress and work on curriculum refinementQualifications & Work ExperienceAn undergraduate degree or higher in physicsExperience teaching physics or creating educational content in this areaStrong command of both written and spoken EnglishExperience with EdTech products is a plusBehavioral CompetenciesExcellent communication skillsExcellent organization and time management skillsAdaptability, flexibility, and willingness to learnAccuracy and attention to detailResearch skillsAbility to relate to K–12 grade studentsAbility to work within a team as well as individuallyAnalytical thinking and problem-solving skillsAbility to produce high-quality work to meet tight deadlines
