**Job Description Summary** GE HealthCare Medical Imaging Segment located at Haifa is looking for Physics Engineer to join our Image Quality – Physics team. The Physicist position works in close collaboration with the GE Healthcare Engineering team, research sites, and clinical partners to develop new product applications and support ongoing activities. **Job Description** **Essential Responsibilities:** Duties include (but are not limited to): + Combining knowledge of physics to deliver new products based on gamma detection technology + Implement system knowledge and multidisciplinary knowledge to optimize detection performance. + Working with customers in a strong research collaboration environment + Use broad expertise in physics to help resolve urgent issues and support product & Marketing with current and future Nuclear Medicine products + Evaluating and extending new concepts as well as providing innovation which can be developed into new product advantages. **Qualifications/Requirements:** · PhD in Physics + Strong physicist from familiar university + Relevant work experience + Strong communication capabilities and Fluent English + Experimental Physicist – advantage + Demonstrated record of innovation in regulated area - Advantage **General** + Independent by nature + Experience in Python + Excellent communication skills + Excellent oral and written communication skills + Experience with research collaborations + Self-starter, energizing, results oriented, and demonstrated ability of multi-tasking + Experience in radiation detector field + Experience working in the Medical device industry Demonstrated problem solving ability and results orientation + Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative, matrixed, and customer focused environment + Clear Thinker, Self-learner GE HealthCare is a leading global medical technology and digital solutions innovator.
