**Job Title: Picker & Packer**
**Job Description**
In this role, you will be responsible for pulling samples based on a priority list and preparing them for shipment. This requires a high level of attention to detail, as your work will directly affect international research and testing. You will need to be comfortable being on your feet and walking the aisles for extended periods of time. You will also be expected to use a computer database to correctly identify samples.
**Responsibilities**

**Essential Skills**
+ Familiarity with Microsoft Windows operating system.
+ Basic computer navigational skills.
+ Experience using Barcode Scanners.
+ High attention to detail.
+ Ability to work independently.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ 6 months warehouse experience.
+ Good understanding of written and spoken English.
+ Ability to cross-reference a computer and scanning system to accurately pull seed samples.

**Work Environment**
This is a fully on-site position in a 250,000 square foot, temperature-controlled facility. The building is only three years old and features automated machinery to assist with the work. Ergonomics are prioritized with adjustable tables and cushion mats provided for comfort. The facility has a comfortable break room and lockers for personal belongings. The standard workday is from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with mandatory overtime hours, including potential Saturday shifts, during the peak season from January to the end of May. The dress code is casual, with safety equipment provided as necessary. You can listen to music with one headphone in while working independently.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Grimes, Iowa.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
