Picking-Manual
The Associate’s primary role will be to work under the DC Management’s leadership; following the distribution center’s processes and procedures to keep the warehouse running effectively and efficient within their assigned areas so that we are meeting and exceeding the needs of our clients and growing our business. The Associate will need to move at a fast pace and will be standing and working long hours with repetitive movement inside a warehouse environment. The daily tasks of an Associate will vary depending on the area assigned to by management. The Associate can at times use a computer and work with power tools, automated machines, and sensors and/or do manual work to receive, package, fulfill, ship and track the orders depending on assigned area. The Associate will work a partially climate controlled warehouse environment, in which outside weather conditions can greatly affect the building’s temperature. The ideal candidate is a quick learner, understands how to use technology, has keen attention to detail, works well as a team player and in independent situations; and has the ability to quickly adapt to change.

Scan barcode printed on carton in order to update the WMS (Warehouse Management System).Locate customer order items in the warehouse and pick those items from stock to accurately fill customer orders.Check items picked for accuracy and quality, ensuring correct quantities.Inspect product for damages or defects.Place items neatly into the cartons.Organize locations after picking items by discarding trash.Assure accuracy of picked orders.Must meet or exceed productivity and quality standards outlined by the company.Perform housekeeping duties.Interface with Team Leads and Supervisors on a daily basis.Understand and demonstrate safe work practices at all times to ensure a safe work environment.Comply with all company policies and procedures.Complete special projects and other duties as assigned by supervisor.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
