**EchoStar** has an exciting opportunity in our **Hughes Network Systems** division for a **Pilot Engineering and Solutions Architecture Intern** . This position will be located at our **Germantown, MD** office. **Responsibilities:** + Collaborate with teams such as Network Engineering, Customer Service, Orchestration, and Network Infrastructure to assist in gathering requirements and design scalable and maintainable workflows. + Explore building demo scripts for networking and cybersecurity solutions involving networking gear and security applications. + Assist in the development of automated reporting templates to efficiently track opportunities, leveraging Salesforce, Tableau, and other reporting tools to streamline data updates and improve decision-making processes. + Create comprehensive documentation for code, processes, and solutions to ensure effective knowledge sharing, facilitate team collaboration, and support long-term maintainability. **Basic Requirements:** + Currently enrolled in a bachelor's program pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. + Must have 60 credit hours completed by June 2025 + 3.0 GPA or above **Preferred Qualifications:** + Basic understanding of networking concepts, software development fundamentals, python scripting and debugging techniques. + Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn new technologies. + Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate ideas clearly.
