Job Description Summary: This position is responsible for performing duties of pilot-in-command in a Citation XLS and/or a KingAir 200, which includes planning entire flight and mentoring other crew members. Responsibilities: - Performs duties as pilot-in-command and with priorities of safety, quality and efficiency.- Performs or delegates preflight inspection of aircraft prior to departure and flight planning for entire trip with consideration to passenger needs and limitations of aircraft and crew.- Makes aircraft air worthiness decisions when not at maintenance facility.- Makes decisions to initiate, postpone, or cancel any assigned flight based on a conservative evaluation of operating conditions and passenger requirements.- Documents all items necessary for billing of services and for maintaining a continuing record of aircraft historical data, along with mechanical discrepancies, at the conclusion of each flight.- Maintains and updates aircraft and navigation documents. Ensures proper certification of aircraft and equipment.- Provides appropriate training and mentoring of less experienced crew members.- Performs as coordinated crew member and additional related duties as assigned by Regional Flight Director and Chief Pilot.- Performs other related duties as assigned. - Other duties as assigned. Education and Experience:- Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.- Documented minimum 3,000 hours total flight time 1,000 hours must be pilot-in-command 2,000 hours multi-engine flight time 500 hours must be turbo-prop or jet experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:- Passenger handling experience, use of tact, diplomacy and courtesy. - Willing to work extended duty days to include overnight stays, weekends and holidays. - Able to report on short notice.- Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others. Registrations, Certifications, and Licenses: - Commercial pilot certificate with appropriate ratings for equipment flown.- Multi-engine and instrument ratings.- ATP certificate can be substituted.- Current Federal Aviation Administration Second Class Medical Certification. Preferred Qualifications: - Ciation ILS and/or KingAir 200 experience preferred.
