The Work

The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of the design, development, and delivery of F-35 pilot training products for the F-35 enterprise. They will monitor and report on Pilot Team production work and identifies the need for and/or prioritizes Problem Tracking Request (PTR) action. Manages schedule requirements and plans and executes change request schedules. Works with the Joint Program Office, U.S. Services, foreign partners/customers, and Instructional System Design (ISD) specialists to ensure the content of all ISD products are technically accurate and that the syllabus design supports the courseware and training devices in the training system. Evaluates curriculum changes with ISD and communicates impacts to service and contractor teams. The successful candidate will work closely with other members of the Lockheed Martin’s Training, Logistics and Sustainment teams on site to fulfill F-35 training objectives. The candidate will implement and support Lockheed Martin initiatives, programs and policies, as directed.

Note: This position will be located at the Eglin ATC, Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. The position may require periodic travel.

This position requires a candidate who is a U.S. Citizen and holds a Secret security clearance to start. The role is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:
* An active secret security clearance with investigation within 5 years
* Must be able to maintain Special Program Access Clearance (PAR)
* A minimum of 1000 hours Fighter Flight Time in fourth and/or fifth generation fighter aircraft
* Familiar with current instructional techniques and delivery methods
* In-depth knowledge of military publications and an understanding of fourth and/or fifth generation aircraft systems
* Use of Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) is required
Desired Skills:
* Experience with F-35 pilot training curriculum
* Familiarity with F-35 program requirements
* Currently possess F-35 Program special access
* Experience in Systems Engineering input for Proposals and development of basis of estimates (BOEs)
* Experience in Cost Account Management and Earned Value Management
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
