Opportunity Overview
The pilot line Assembler will execute quality control of the PCBA hardware upon IPC industrial standards.
In this role you will work with the company’s new products’ hardware update, electronic components replacement of advanced soldering technologies BGA, hardware visual inspection under industrial IPC standards, SMT, QFM and through hole devices, PCBA cleaning processes Wash & Bake, X Ray the products.
It will also perform assembly process of Teradyne instruments, installing all electromechanically components of the product in the production line.
This role requires also the usage of PCB software viewers to repair electronic boards, traces, parts and identify internal layers of the board, as well as the usage of different tracking software packages for product control.
As a pilot line assembler, you will perform the following tasks:
+ Product receiving visual inspection.
+ Support ESD area representative, maintain ESD correct environment.
+ X- Ray machine usage for deep product inspections.
+ Support any kind of technology and rework complexity plus software tools,
manufacturing travelers, team center, PCB viewer.
+ Support PCB update process, track hardware changes in Team Center database.
+ Perform PCBA assembly procedures to build High level assembly instruments.
All About You
We are looking for an individual with a strong technical electronics background to join Teradyne’s Pilot Line team. The ideal candidate will have high quality standards and will have a key role in testing and the inspection of electronic components.
Minimum job requirements:
+ High school degree.
+ Technical degree in electronics, related field or equivalent experience.
+ Intermediate English Level (Writing and reading)
+ Minimum 1 year of experience in:
+ IPC industry standards knowledge.
+ Computer OS.
+ PCBA handling and rework.
+ Windows Office Package
+ Assembly & machine preventive maintenance skills
+ ESD Knowledge.
Preferred job requirements:
+ PCB Layout viewers (e.g.Cadence)
+ Knowledge of LEAN and 5S
