Pilot Plant Technician

Job Description:

The Technician is responsible for implementation of trials and workflows across the Pilot Plant through close collaboration with various R&D teams. This role supports and utilizes KPIs to track and measure workload while supporting area cleaning and sanitation, raw material inventories, traceability, and document control. This role requires adherence and awareness to all safety and GMP/QMP policies.

Minimum Requirements

High school degree mandatory; however some additional college courses are preferred

Experience working in a manufacturing environment

Awareness of Quality & Safety programs

Preferred Qualifications

0 – 2  years Technical or Manufacturing Experience

Experience in a food industry, labs or pilot plants

Utilizing digital tools to record data

What will be your key responsibilities?

Execute experiments with guidance e.g. formula/trial preparation and execution

Operation, sanitation and maintenance of Laboratory and/or Pilot Plant equipment/machinery Establish essential knowledge of GMP, Q&FS and Safety programs and perform routine inspections

Establish understanding of internal IT systems for document control, traceability, material management and other Laboratory and/or Pilot Plant operations 

Any other tasks and assignments by line manager

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, if eligible, including variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits.  Eligibility for these additional elements depend on the position offered and the employee’s work schedule (i.e., part-time schedule, store associate).  Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.
