Purpose of the position 

\n\n\n

Testing on field the solutions that Gilbarco and Vontier propose to Customers is a key moment in the process of releasing the same and the place where to evaluate the actual quality of them. 

\n\n\n

Field trial, pilot or proof-of-concept installations are part of the Standard Process of Delivery of a solution produced by Gilbarco, staying in between the ending of lab integration/system testing and the final release of the product for sale and use. 

\n\n\n

This position will cover all functions for the definition, organization, management, follow-up and completion of field trial, pilot test or proof-of-concept activities. 

\n\n\n

This position could include business trips worldwide, being field trial, pilot or proof-of-concept installations not limited to local country.

Key Responsibilities 

\n\n\n

 

\n\n\n\nHelp on definition of field trial, pilot test or proof-of-concept activities  \nManage organization of each field trial / pilot / POC from the initial request to the completion of the activity \nManage contacts with all involved stakeholders for the above activities \nManage contacts with external resources  \nManage financial requests for external resources \nPerform final lab acceptance testing when required \nSupport installation and startup of the above activities , both from remote or on field where needed \nProvide monitoring during the follow-up period, on field if needed \nManage first level of support to the operators on field and performs as link between field and Engineering \nManage completion of activities and produce a final report for all stakeholders \nOrganize shipping of materials to and from the site if required \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nGood skills in spoken and written Italian and English, able to communicate verbally and in writing with confidence and clarity. \nSkills in any other language, written and/or spoken, are a plus and worthwhile\n\n\n\n\nAbility to demonstrate excellent customer contact handling skills, demonstrating empathy, support coupled with active listening skills to ascertain facts and work through resolutions. \nBe persistent, resilient, and patient, recognizing that some individuals you are supporting may be under pressure and possess less technical skills \nProblem-solving attitude \nHave excellent attention to detail and accuracy \nTo possess a driving license and willing to travel by car, plane, train \nExperience of system testing and analysis \nExperience of and/or remote support \nExperience of the Windows platform and networking \nExperience of system development, relational databases is a plus \nFlexibility in work schedule, adaptability on working by night on demand and to provide  \nSelf-driven and work independently, but able to work constructively in a team, focusing on solutions to improve service levels \nSelf-Learning and proficiency utilizing research manuals and tools to find answers  \nTo comply with the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Policy (Vontier, GVR & local country ) \nTo comply with the Vontier Code of Conduct. \n\n\n\n\n\n
