Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 3:00/4:00 PM (1/2-hour unpaid lunch)

Job Overview
PDS Tech Inc is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Pipe Fabrication Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in our fabrication shop, following standard operating procedures for pipe cutting, threading, beveling, and assembly. This position requires a strong commitment to safety and efficiency, with an emphasis on quality craftsmanship and adherence to OSHA regulations. Responsibilities

Follow standard operating procedures for pipe fabrication, including setup and maintenance of fabrication machines.

Measure, cut, thread, and bevel pipes using tools like band saws, torches, and Landis machines.

Move loose or bundled pipe across various locations in the pipe yard.

Assemble pipe orders, ensuring organization and accuracy in both single sticks and bundles.

Observe safety protocols for fabrication, stacking, and transportation of pipes.

Inspect and maintain all equipment, including forklifts, to ensure safe and functional operation.

Qualifications

Strong communication skills, both oral and written.

Advanced math skills with the ability to accurately calculate pipe measurements and quantities.

Knowledge of safe work practices in a pipe yard.

Experience operating machinery for pipe cutting and threading (will provide on-site training for OSHA and client safety policies).

Ability to remain results-driven in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment.

Pay Details: $22.00 per hour
