Job Description

This position involves working on the Discovery building for the Engineering building at the UT campus. The job includes performing pipefitting duties with a focus on carbon and steel piping within chilled water systems. The role requires working outdoors and at heights, making it essential for candidates to be comfortable with such conditions.

ResponsibilitiesPerform carbon and steel pipefitting duties.Work with chilled water systems and carbon steel piping ranging from 4-30\".Work outdoors all day and at heights, including on roofs.Contribute to various tasks beyond pipefitting as needed, with a positive attitude and quick learning ability.Skill Qualifications2-5 years of commercial service pipefitting experience.Comfortable with small spaces and heights.Experience with plumbing, service plumbing, pipe fitting, fabrication, blueprint reading, welding, and industrial piping.Must Have OSHA 10Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to perform tasks related to sinks, toilets, and general service plumbing.

Work Schedule / Pay / ContractThe schedule is Monday to Friday from 6 am to 3 pm, with the possibility of working Saturdays and overtime.This is a 6 month contract to hire jobPay is based on experience and will fal between $26-32 based on experience

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $32.00
