Job DescriptionInspecting and diagnosing issues with piping systems and plumbing fixtures.Installing pipes and fixtures, such as sinks and toilets, for water, gas, steam, air, or other liquids.Repairing or replacing damaged or malfunctioning equipment.Clearing obstructions from sink drains and toilets.Proficiency in the use of tools and equipment required to perform the functions of the position.Ability to work independently and as part of a teamCollaborating with plant supervision, contractors, mechanics and electriciansEnsuring compliance with building codes and safety standards in all installations and repairs.Reports safety hazards, incidents, and deficiencies to immediate supervisor.Ensure all installations and repairs are compliant with government regulations.Familiarity with the intricacies of working with PVC, ABS, cast iron, and copper, etc.Attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.Clean-up worksite after work is performed.Maintains daily journal of work performed and inventory of supplies

QualificationsGas License and Gas License Class 1 will be considered as assetPlumber licence mandatoryHigh school graduate or equivalentIndustrial Plumbing experience considered as assetApplicant(s) must be physically fit and be able to withstand vertical heightsMay be required to pass a specific medical examination related to the physical requirements of the position before being accepted

Additional Information

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday: 7am to 3:30pm

Must be available in case of emergency

Hourly Wage: 41.99$
