**Job Title: Pipe Foreman** **Job Description** Assist in the installation of underground utilities, piping, and equipment at industrial facilities including water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, and shipyards. Prepare grades for the installation of piping and ductbanks, and cut, prepare, and assemble pipe systems of various materials such as PVC, HDPE, ductile iron, copper, steel, and concrete pipe. **Responsibilities** + Assist in the installation of underground utilities. + Assist in the installation of piping and equipment at industrial facilities including water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, and shipyards. + Prepare grades for the installation of piping and ductbanks. + Cut, prepare, and assemble pipe systems of various materials including but not limited to PVC, HDPE, ductile iron, copper, steel, and concrete pipe. **Essential Skills** + Experience in construction, pipe laying, and utility work. + Ability to read blueprints. + Ability to set grade and lasers. + Experience with water, sewer, and electrical lines. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Able to perform manual labor in all types of environments and conditions, including heavy lifting (in excess of 50 lbs.) and working at heights with comfort and ease for an 8 – 10-hour workday. + Interpersonal competencies that include a drive for results, the need for closure, effective oral communication skills, organization, planning, trust, respect, being dependable and cooperation. **Why Work Here?** This is a contract-to-hire position with growth opportunities.
