Our client, a globally leading EPC company,  are seeking an experienced Piping Checker to join their team on a High value Pharmaceutical project. This role is outside of IR-35.  Review and meticulously check piping isometric drawings, general arrangement drawings (GADs), and support drawings for accuracy, manufacturability, and adherence to project specifications and industry standards (e.g., ASME B31.3, B16.5). Identify and communicate any discrepancies, errors, or potential clashes with other disciplines in the design. Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software (e.g., AutoCAD, PDMS, PDS) to review and mark-up drawings. Collaborate effectively with Piping Designers and other engineering disciplines to resolve discrepancies and ensure design integrity. Contribute to maintaining and improving the quality of piping design documents. May participate in piping design reviews and provide technical input. Stay up-to-date on relevant piping codes and standards.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in piping design or as a Piping Checker in the Oil & Gas, Chemical, or Petrochemical industry. Proven experience in reviewing and checking piping isometric drawings, GADs, and support drawings. Strong understanding of piping symbols, notations, and design principles. Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software for reviewing and mark-up of drawings. Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify potential problems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with engineers and other disciplines.
