**Job Title: Tig Welder** **Job Description** TIG welders are responsible for the fabrication and welding of aerospace tubular, sheet metal, and casting engine components comprised of stainless steel, Inconel, cobalt, and aluminum alloys. **Responsibilities** + Fabricate and weld aerospace tubular, sheet metal, and casting engine components. + Work with materials including stainless steel, Inconel, cobalt, and aluminum alloys. + Perform welding tasks in accordance with ASME Section IX standards. + Set up and operate a precision welding machine. + Conduct weld tests on various pipes, including an ASME Section IX 2” 6G position weld on schedule 10, 304 stainless steel pipe. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in TIG welding. + Experience with stainless steel and sheet metal. + Ability to pass the ASME Section IX weld test. + Knowledge of setting up and operating a precision welding machine. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Understanding of ASME Section IX standards. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. **Why Work Here?** Join a team that values craftsmanship and precision in welding. The role requires adherence to safety standards and may involve working in different weather conditions. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plano, Texas. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $40.00/hr.
