**Responsibilities:**
+ Hours: 5 X 8's Highly
+ Preferred Criteria: Ability to complete / pass pre-employment checks such as a background check and drug screen
+ Read and interpret detailed technical blueprints, welding symbols, and engineering drawings to determine the appropriate welding techniques, materials, and positions
+ Ensure accurate preparation and layout of materials prior to welding, including cutting, fitting, and aligning pipe sections
+ Inspect and test welds for quality, ensuring compliance with industry standards such as ASME, AWS, and API codes
+ Maintain strict adherence to welding procedures to achieve optimal strength, durability, and appearance of welded joints
+ Perform welding on a variety of pipe materials including carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steel, and other specialized alloys
+ Execute welding in multiple positions (1G, 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G, and 6G) based on project requirements. Weld pipe connections and joints to ensure structural integrity, functionality, and compliance with project drawings and specifications
+ Utilize welding techniques such as TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), MIG (Metal Inert Gas), Stick, and FCAW to complete welds on pipes, valves, flanges, and fittings
+ Adhere to strict safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
+ Comply with OSHA regulations, environmental policies, and company safety practices when performing welding tasks
+ Wear and maintain appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including welding helmets, gloves, respirators, and fire-resistant clothing, at all times Work closely with supervisors, engineers, and other tradespersons to ensure welding tasks align with project timelines, specifications, and quality standards
+ Communicate effectively with team members to resolve technical issues and ensure continuous workflow
**Qualifications:**
+ 3 or more years of proven experience as a Welder
+ Proficient with welding processes & techniques
+ Competent with reading blueprints, drawings, & diagrams
+ Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day
+ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without reasonable accommodation
+ Knowledge of welding techniques including wire feed, gas flow, and heat settings Have experience using grinders and torches
+ Ability to pay strong attention to detail and to inspect work for highest quality
+ Have strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot welding defects and issues
+ Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors
+ Understand safety standards and proper use of PPE
+ Must be able to work at least 40 hours a week and overtime if required
+ Have reliable transportation to and from work
