Ferguson is seeking a Pipe Yard Associate to fill an immediate need for the pipe yard at our brand new semi-automatic fabrication shop. If you have warehouse or pipe yard experience in the pipe industry, this is the position for you!
Onsite Location: Conyers, GA
Schedule/ Hours: Monday - Friday hours between 5AM - 1:30PM
ResponsibilitiesOperate heavy motorized material handling equipment in a safe manner.Accurately pick products ordered.Coordinate the removal and replacement of worn components.Accurately cycle count, thoroughly inspect orders, and unload trucks with forklift.Effectively put items away and receive them in system.Coordinate the organization and reconfiguration of the yard.Operate powered industrial equipment in accordance with OSHA guidelines and Ferguson safe operating procedures.Assist in all operations of the shop and pipe yard on an as needed basis.QualificationsA background in warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory is preferred.Basic product knowledge of carbon steel pipe and pipe fittings is preferred.Forklift Operator experience preferred.Requires working outdoors, exposed to all weather conditions and temperatures.Constantly requires carrying objects that are up to 50 lbs. by hand.Constantly requires carrying objects that are 50 lbs. or more using equipment.Highly organized and able to perform tasks with minimal direction.Strong mechanical proficiency.Basic math skills required.** Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check. **

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
