We are seeking a pipefitter to join the industrial maintenance team of a general contractor based in Quebec City. This multidisciplinary company, specializing in construction and engineering, has extensive experience in large-scale projects. Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and diagrams for the fabrication and installation of piping systems Prepare, cut, assemble, and install pipes made of steel, stainless steel, copper, plastic, or other materials Perform welding or fitting work for the assembly of systems Verify the tightness and compliance of installations by conducting pressure tests Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures on-site Collaborate with engineering teams, supervisors, and other trades Conduct preventive or corrective maintenance on existing installations Ensure cleaning and inspection of installed systems

Skills and qualifications :

DEP in pipefitting, plumbing, or any equivalent training 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role Proficiency in reading blueprints and interpreting technical drawings Knowledge of welding standards and leak testing procedures Valid competency card (CCQ or equivalent depending on the region) Valid ASP Construction safety card (mandatory) Valid driver’s license Proficiency in French (spoken and written) Experience in Quebec is required Apply
