Job Description

We are looking to hire experienced Fitters and Installers for a large Data Center project in Phoenix, AZ. The role involves installing Chilled Water and Condenser Water Piping Systems. Candidates must have experience with Copper and Steel piping, both for chilled and condenser water, and be proficient in Victaulic piping. Knowledge of fitting takeouts for screw and weld fittings, as well as experience with screw pipe, is essential. The ability to read blueprints and follow safety procedures is also required. Fire Sprinkler fitters are accepted for this role.

ResponsibilitiesInstall Chilled Water and Condenser Water Piping Systems.Work with Copper and Steel Chilled Water Piping.Work with Copper and Steel Condenser Water Piping.Work with Victaulic Piping.Know all fitting takeouts for screw and weld fittings.Read and interpret blueprints.Follow safety procedures.Constant walking, standing, lifting, pulling, and climbing ladders.Work outside in various weather conditions.Push, pull, and frequently carry objects such as tools, materials, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.Kneel, crouch, and crawl as needed.Stand and walk for long periods of time.Overtime and weekend availability with regular attendance.Essential SkillsExperience with Copper and Steel Chilled Water Piping.Experience with Copper and Steel Condenser Water Piping.Experience with Victaulic Piping.Knowledge of fitting takeouts for screw and weld fittings.Experience with screw pipe.Ability to read blueprints.Follow safety procedures.3+ years of relevant experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with brazing and soldering.Experience with grooved pipe fitting.Experience with layout drawings and mechanical drawings.Experience with pipes 3 inches in diameter or less.Ability to operate lifts and work 15 feet in the air.Commercial plumbers are accepted.Why Work Here?

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, Arizona.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $38.00
