Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled pipefitter to repair, maintain, install, and improve chemical processing equipment and building services. This includes working with various materials and troubleshooting issues across multiple systems.
Responsibilities:
Perform repairs, maintenance, installations, and enhancements on chemical processing equipment and building services. This includes tasks related to process piping, building service piping, pneumatics, and hydraulics. Work with diverse materials such as stainless steel, steel, glass-lined components, plastic, and copper. Troubleshoot and repair systems, as well as design and lay out piping. Additionally, assist with preventative maintenance throughout the buildings.
Essential Skills:Experience in pipefitting and welding.Proficiency with stainless steel welding.Knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures.Familiarity with HVAC equipment and process control.Additional Skills & Qualifications:Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.Experience with HVAC equipment and process controls is a plus.Why Work Here?

Work Environment:
Primarily assigned to one main building, but there is an expectation to assist across 11 different buildings within the park. The work environment can be loud at times. We offer a flexible 1st shift schedule from 6am-2:30pm or 7am-3:30pm, and also consider candidates open to a rotating schedule as it is a 24/7 facility.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rochester, New York.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00
