Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team for a new build project at a data center in New Albany, OH. This role involves working with 4-12 inch carbon steel pipes and 6-inch stainless steel pipes, with a schedule from Monday to Friday, 6 am to 4:30 pm, and optional Saturday work.
ResponsibilitiesConsult blueprints, work orders, schematics, or instructions to determine layouts and connections.Weld, cut, bend, thread, solder, and fit pipes.Bolt pipes and hang hangers.Attach pipes and piping systems to walls using brackets, bracket systems, or clamps; cut or bore holes prior to the project.Inspect pipes, test for pressure and leaks; report and/or resolve problems.Essential SkillsExperience with carbon steel and stainless steel pipes.Ability to read blueprints to determine layouts and connections.Must have (or ability to obtain before starting) OSHA 10 or higher.Scissor Lift Certification & Fall Protection.Own hand tools.Additional Skills & Qualifications5+ years of experience with pipefitting.Journeyman card is preferred.Experience with sheet metal and duct work.

Work Environment
You will be working at the QTS Data Center in New Albany, OH. The standard work hours are Monday to Friday, 6 am to 4:30 pm, with optional Saturday work. The work involves handling various types of pipes and requires adherence to safety standards, including OSHA regulations.

This is a Contract position based out of Columbus, Ohio.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
