Pipefitter - Newport News, VA - $120/day Per Diem Job Description: Seeking a Pipefitter with 5+ years of experience in marine, commercial nuclear, or petro/chemical settings. Must read ship piping drawings, fit various piping, and perform end prep. Responsibilities: + Read ship piping drawings + Fit carbon steel, CRES, and copper nickel piping + End prep piping by hand or machinery + Install pipe hangers + Read a ruler (inches and tenths) + Prep and fit-up backing rings + Clean cut/break pipe with a grinder + Hand prep V bevels + Fabricate details and assemblies + Bend pipe from templates + Fit welded sockets and brazed joints Skills: + 5+ years as a First Class Pipefitter + US Citizenship required Why Work Here?
