Summary You will serve as a PIPEFITTER LEADER in the Pipe Shop (960), Production Resources Department Manager (901), Production Resources Department (900) of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD. Responsibilities You will communicate performance standards and provide performance evaluations with feedback to journeyman mechanics. You will plan the use of workers, equipment, facilities, materials and tools for assigned units of work. You will provide technical direction and general knowledge of work techniques, methods and equipment to workers and journeymen. You will perform regular job site leadership and monitor conformance to procedures, practices and performance goals. You will maintain accurate record of time expended and progress on assigned tasks.
