**Job Title: Pipelayer***** **Job Description** Work with the backhoe operator to supervise the correct depth and grade to lay pipe. Collaborate with pipe craft and civil crews to place pipe in ditches. Prefabricate pipe using ductile iron fittings, HDPE, slip joints, concrete pipe, and steel pipe. Prioritize safety, adhere to all safety policies, and pass a test in reference to safe operation in trenches. The standard working hours are from 7 am to 5 pm. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Chesapeake, Virginia. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
