What role you will play in our team

 

We are looking for Pipeline Operations Technicians with a background in operating pipelines and facilities in conformance with PHMSA regulations. Pipeline Operations personnel are responsible for helping maintain the safety of the public, the environment, and regulatory compliance. 

What you will do

 

Participate in the Company’s safety programs.  Perform Damage Prevention activities, including processing LA 811 notifications, investigating pipeline patrol observations, and manage third party encroachments.  Participate in the Company’s Public Awareness program by maintaining liaison with the affected public, emergency responders, public officials, and excavators.  Actively participate in 24-hour emergency response activities.  Respond to afterhours call-out as required.  Complete and maintain accurate documentation to demonstrate compliance with regulations. 
  About you

 

We are looking for someone who has a strong pipeline operations background and has the following qualifications:

Skills and Qualifications

Five years of experience in pipeline operations or equivalent environment.   Strong mechanical aptitude.   Ability to effectively work across multiple organizations that support operations such as the Maintenance & Reliability team and the Corrosion team.    Knowledgeable with procedures and techniques associated with the operation of pipeline equipment and related facilities.  Attention to details, proactiveness and Teamwork Good written and oral communication skills  Computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
