Summary- Pipette Technician 1 is an entry-level position, requiring no prior experience. Trainees will be able to calibrate pipettes, as well as scales/balances, centrifuges, or various temperature devices.  Training will be provided, and technicians are expected to learn the skills and processes necessary to perform calibration work within the lab environment.

Responsibilities Will work with management and other technicians within the lab to learn pipette calibration fundamentals, working to produce calibrations using the systems and SOPs we have in placeLearn fundamental calibration techniques and processesDevelop skills necessary to perform calibrations independentlyDevelop skills necessary to produce calibrations at a specified rate Maintain calibration standardsMust be able to perform these functions within a laboratory setting and/or supervised customer on-siteWill be required to perform on site calibration, certification, and maintenance services on specific lab equipment at client/customer locations including interfacing with customers in person, via email or phoneEquipment includes pipettes, bottle top dispensers, scales, balances, centrifuges, and temperature calibrationsOther duties as assigned Qualifications Ability to learn new skills regarding calibration and calibration processesPrevious laboratory experience is preferred but not requiredBasic mathematical skills including algebra, geometry, and statisticsFamiliarity with basic toolsProficiency with office computer software including Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookBasic organizational and time management skills Options Apply for this job onlineApplyShareEmail this job to a friendRefer Sorry the Share function is not working properly at this moment.
