The Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Operator is responsible for operating various types of powered industrial equipment to move, locate, relocate, and stack cases. The Operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle at all times.PRIMARY DUTIES
Operates various forms of powered industrial equipment in and around the Distribution CenterLoads, unloads, moves, stacks, and stages product and materials using powered industrial equipmentUses radio frequency equipment for picking, receiving and put-awayMaintains the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashionInspects the powered industrial equipment daily; reports any issuesLoads and unloads shipments, pallets, and productPlaces product on the racking systemsScans, documents, and pulls the correct quantity for each orderOperates all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methodsConsistently meets established company standards of safety, security, and productivityPerforms duties consistent with the Company’s AAP/EEO goals and policiesPerforms other duties as required/assignedSalary
