The iconic Hotel del Coronado is looking for a Pizzeria Attendant to join the team! Join one of the last surviving wooden Victorian beach resorts in the world and after a $400M renovation and expansion, the resort is more stunning than ever.

Located on Coronado Island just minutes from Downtown San Diego, this 28-acre property was built in 1888 and has over 750 rooms, cottages and villas with 65,000 square feet of banquet space, and 10 food and beverage outlets. This includes 4 restaurants, 2 bars, a food truck, marketplace, ice cream shop, and in-room dining.

Classification: Full-Time

Shift: Various – must be available to weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Pay Rate: The pay rate for this role is $20.78 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.

What will I be doing?

\n

The purpose of the position of ENO Pizzeria Attendant is to serve but not limited to: beverages, appetizers, salads and pizza to guests in a timely, courteous, efficient and accurate manner.  All functions are carried out to maintain an environment of education, upbeat and seamless teamwork.

\n\nGreet, take guest orders, assign table number for guest to seat self and process in a timely manner.\nAssist guest in choice of beverages and deliver food accurately to the guests table, once delivered remove table number.\nCheck back with the guest throughout meal to ensure no additional items are needed. \nRestock items necessary for grab and go service such as: plates, napkins, utensils and condiment packets/Break down and store away at closing.\nRestock bottled beverages in coolers/Empty bins at closing and store beverages. \nSet up hot box for takeout orders/store away at closing.\nHandout takeout orders and assist guest with plates, napkins and utensils.\nSet up/break down POS stand and takeout kiosk daily.\nOperate point of sale system.\nHandle cash, room charge and credit transactions while adhering to cash handling policies and procedures.\nClear tables and patio area of any trash and wipe down in a timely manner for the next guest to seat/Ensure entire patio is clean at closing.\nCommunicate with support staff and management for all inventory, paper goods and guest satisfaction needs. \nAble to work in an outdoor environment for a long period of time.\n\n

Must have working knowledge of food service & cashiering and be 18 years of age.

Ability to multitask and attention to detail. \nService from the “HEART” approach toward guests and the team.\n\n\nAny Licenses or Certificates Required: Food Handlers Card and Responsible Beverage Server Certificate\nMinimum Education: High School Diploma\nMinimum Years of Experience:  Minimum 6 months customer service and cash handling\n\n\n \n
