The Pharmacokinetics, Pharmacodynamics and Drug Metabolism (PKDM) department is an integrated part of the Translational Medicine and Early Development organization within Sanofi. We routinely use model-based drug development approaches to enable optimal decision-making to accelerate programs across the pipeline from preclinical to late-stage development. We are currently seeking a co-op/intern for 2025. The co-op/intern will learn about clinical pharmacology and pharmacometrics, including principles of model-based drug development in pharmaceutical R&D settings. The co-op/intern will work closely with our staff to develop and apply innovative pharmacokinetic (PK) modelling methodologies specifically focusing on physiologically based pharmacokinetic (PBPK) analysis contributing to the development and implementation of new capabilities, standards, and approaches. He/she will be involved in various activities to support clinical development programs including medical literature review, development of PBPK models to characterize PK in special (geriatric or pediatric) populations and to predict drug-drug interactions using state-of-the-art quantitative methodologies such as artificial intelligence/machine learning within the modeling and simulation framework.
