GovCIO is currently hiring for PL/SQL Developer to perform legacy business logic analysis in support of an application development team. This position will be located in Stafford/Quantico, VA and will be a hybrid position.
ResponsibilitiesBuilds and codes applications and/or modules using languages such as PL/SQL, HTML, C#, JavaScript, C++, visual basic, ABAP, JAVA, XTML, etc. May support the design graphical user interface (GUI) to meet the specific needs of users. Prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. May build add-on modules using application program language.
Performs business logic review of existing PL/SQL, HTML, JavaScript, and C# codeProvides code review documentation to Requirements team supporting use case/acceptance criteria for software development portion of the processSupports developers and data engineers with code design and process review/testingParticipates in code reviews to represent reviewed work for adherence to standards and specifications.Writes or revises program documentation, operations documentation and user guides in accordance with standards. QualificationsEducation/Training Requirements
High School with 10+ years (or commensurate experience)Clearance: SECRETDOD 8570 IAT Level II
Required Skills and Experience
Strong experience with Oracle and PL/SQL programmingStrong experience application development leveraging HTML, C#, and JavaScriptStrong experience reverse-engineering existing PL/SQL code and proceduresPrior experience in software design and development upgrading existing applications through modernization conceptsPreferred Skills and Experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience with the software development life cycle in an Agile-based project

Posted Pay Range
