Position: PL/SQL Developer

Job Summary:
Designs, develops, modifies, adapts, and implements short- and long-term solutions to technology needs through new and existing applications, systems architecture, network systems, and applications infrastructure. Reviews system requirements and business processes; codes, tests, debugs, documents, and implements software solutions. Provides application software development services typically in a defined project. Develops program logic for new applications or analyzes and modifies logic in existing applications. Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented. May test new software code and typically works in a highly efficient ("Agile") development environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, optimize, and maintain complex PL/SQL queries, stored procedures, and packages.

Perform query performance tuning to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing.

Collaborate with business analysts and application developers to design and implement database solutions.

Troubleshoot and debug database-related issues.

Work with XML and JSON data structures for data integration.

Ensure data integrity, security, and consistency across systems.

Prepare technical documentation and participate in code reviews.

Troubleshooting production issues in lower environments with strong debugging skills.

Participate in Production Issue triage Bridge Calls and provide solutions.

Understanding of Agile methodologies and maintain the Jira Hygiene.

Automate Unit Tests using Ruby Cucumber.

Interact with business users, front-end developers, Business Analysts, and QA as part of the development process.

Collaborate with Production L2 Support and ensure defect backlogs are within threshold.

Conduct daily status exchanges internally with the team and communicate via email to counterparts/Bank.

Participate in scrum calls, retrospection meetings, and code reviews.

Lead and manage a team of developers, Business Analysts, and QA.

Forecast project resource requirements and manage hiring, onboarding, and offboarding.

Track progress and make adjustments as needed to keep delivery on track.

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the team.

Participate in Production Incident Bridge calls and provide suggestions/solutions.

Knowledge of investment banking and corporate actions domain

Educational Qualification:

B. Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
