Litigation Paralegal needed in one of Atlanta's most respected plaintiff litigation firms that is known for their skills in handling catastrophic cases. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded trial team known known for their dedication to clients.

As a Litigation Paralegal here, you will manage cases from inception through resolution, playing a pivotal role in helping those who have been catastrophically injured due to the negligence of others. This paralegal must have at least four years of experience as a litigation paralegal in a plaintiff firm. Traits that will make this paralegal successful here include a strong work ethic, the ability and experience to work all aspects of litigation, possess superior communication skills, excellent organizational skills, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities vary but will include:

Performing researchObtaining medical, employment, accident, and police recordsDrafting pleadings, complaints, discovery and responses to discoveryE-file documents with courtsCommunicating with clients, opposing counsel, court officials and insurance companiesWorking closely with colleagues in managing the cases through all phases of litigation, including trial preparation and if needed, attending local trialPreparing exhibitsScheduling meetings and depositions and deadline tracking
