PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
Responsible for managing and optimizing supply chain planning processes at strategic, tactical, and operational levels. This role ensures the creation of an efficient, cost-effective, and stable supply plan that aligns with sales forecasts to meet inventory targets.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
A bachelor’s degree in business Demand Planning or Supply Chain Management 3 - 4 years’ work experience in forecasting, analysis and reporting. Knowledge of SAP /ERP systems and/or advanced planning tools is a definite advantage. Experience in the FMCG industry will be a definite advantage. Valid Code B drivers’ licence
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Collect and analyse forecast data Manage inventory levels and conduct regular stock checks to prevent stockouts and excess inventory Initiate implements and embeds improvements to the Supply planning process, procedures and systems. Participate in cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in supply chain processes Analyse production capacity in Packaging, Brewing and Warehousing Assemble and analyse all data to create a proper Supply Plan in line with the inventory targets of all market Practice a high level of judgment on influencing key decisions required from S&OP
