Description:Planner – Scheduler I
Location: Marysville, WA
Term: Contract assignment – 9 months (extendable)
Shift: Monday to Friday – 7 am – 3:30 pm
Pay Rate: $25 per hour (based on experience)
Job Summary:
• The Planner is responsible for overseeing all planning activities to ensure successful delivery of the product
• This position will be responsible for performing tasks and duties associated with product manufacture planning, including producing schedules, material lists, and production plans
Responsibilities:
• Read, interpret, and create level Bill of Material
• Evaluates shortages and manages prompt solutions keeping appropriate stakeholders informed of any potential problem as required
• Analyzes demand and plans supply in accordance, ensures efficient and quality execution of requirements and purchasing action messages, manages supplier delivery, quality, and cost performance and improvement
• Ensure material flow and production activity are aligned
• Reads and reviews engineering drawings and documentation and coordinate any changes
• Supports testing and certification requirements for new programs
• Preserves engineering revision control
• Confirm accuracy of pertinent data in the company ERP system
• Collaborates with stakeholders on lead times, planning items and any related elements
• Performs work under direct supervision
• Handles basic issues and problems, and escalates more complex issues to higher level staff
• Active participation in operational improvement activities
• Other tasks as needed, and flexibility is key.
• Overtime required as needed
Qualifications:
• Possesses working knowledge of subject matter
• 1-2 years minimum of experience
• MS Office Skills (Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications:
• Planning, logistics certification.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Previous supply chain/logistics
• MRP system experience
• Ability to read and analyze engineering prints
