We are currently adding a Planner I to our Life Sciences team to support the day-to-day activities related to inventory buying in partnership with our distribution center. In this role, you will have the ability to work on a small, dynamic team and drive inventory decisions to accommodate customer needs.

While hybrid, this role will be based in Bloomington, MN.

Role Responsibilities:

Monitor stock availability and accuracy at our Distribution Center (correct product, quantity and at the correct time, etc...)

Diligently setup, monitor and work the planning processes to make adjustments with eye on improving availability and turnover

Interact with sales, marketing, engineering and finance to design the background inventory planning of new projects (i.e. new business, promotions, external indexes, etc.) and based on this feedback, implement new initiatives to further drive inventory goals green

Ensure the availability is in line with customer requirements, Inventory Control procedures, company policies and objectives

Support and communicate with the internal customers (Sales, Customer Service, Business Units management, production/plant)

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent through experience

2+ years utilizing  Microsoft Excel (i.e. vlookup, pivot tables) through education or work

Preferred Qualifications:

Natural interest in Supply Chain

Strong interpersonal skills, facilitation, presentation and written communication skills including the ability to interact with many functional areas and levels

You have strong communication skills

Experience with Oracle or any other ERP system

Ability to set priorities and act upon them

Driven by accuracy, eye for detail, and respecting deadlines

Collaborative and team player; willing to support others

Annual Salary Range: $54,600 - $68,900.  Actual salaries will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to applicable work experience, training, education, performance.
