A Brief Overview
Reports to an Associate, Senior Associate, Senior Program Manager, Vice President, or Senior Vice President. The team member performs basic discipline assignments under close supervision and serves as a team member on small projects or a selected segment of a large project.

What you will do

GENERAL:

Performs basic discipline assignments under close supervision Undertakes a variety of assignments Serves as a team member on a small project or a selected segment of a large project Assists team leader in preparing products, reports, graphics, drawings, and/or presentations Provides support to project team in all phases of the facility development and implementation process Conducts project analysis and research under the supervision of the team leader. Produces accurate work as part of coordination project team. Develops presentation materials and graphics, with supervision, for client meetings, deliverables, and marketing efforts. Performs other duties and projects as assigned.

PLANNING:

Supports the project team. Oral communication and interpersonal skills to present research findings to various project stakeholders. Creative problem-solving skills to gather relevant information to solve less well- defined practical problems. Group facilitation skills for use with stakeholder workshops. Demonstrates well-developed knowledge of planning principles and practices. Demonstrates knowledge of principles, methodology, practices of research and data collection.


Qualifications

Master's Degree and 2 years or Preferred Bachelor's Degree and 4 years professional experience in planning, criminal justice, or public administration. Preferred 1-3 years planning, criminal justice, or government experience. Required 1-3 years with BA/BS Required 4-6 years or more years of Construction Project Experience without BA/BS Preferred Requires a detail oriented, self-starter, who takes initiative, able to prioritize, and multi-task in busy environment. Works under close supervision and in a collaborative team environment. Ability to develop, maintain, and foster relationships at every level among the organization and with external customers, as well as lead and positively influence others. Competency in various computer software programs such as Microsoft Office, Bluebeam. Competency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDeisgn a plus. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and extensive criminal background checks. Competency in MS Office products including Word, Excel, Bluebeam Basic understanding regarding design and construction compliance, codes, and regulation.
