Planner
Our Sensors & Controls division, located in Stratford, ON, is looking for a Planner, Staff to join their team.
As our Planner, under close supervision, plans, schedules, coordinates and/or monitors final approval of products through the complete production cycle. Works from engineering plans and production specifications to establish production schedules, labor loading, and capacity requirements. Coordinates production plans to ensure materials are provided according to schedules.

Your Challenge
Develops and maintains detailed schedules, production plans and material requirements list in accordance with the Master Production Schedule, for products, proposal efforts and/or production processes.
Coordinates Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Material Control, Quality and other departments to achieve optimum utilization of facilities in meeting production schedules.
Provides input to management regarding problems such as scheduling problems, material shortages, design changes and backlogs.
Releases and maintains all appropriate paperwork.
Document management (Router sign off verification, scanning, filing)
Inventory management (Parts tracking, inventory counting, data entry, part picking/kitting/sorting)
Parts shipping and receiving and stocking.
What You Bring
Office Systems Administration diploma, Bachelor of Arts, or Supply Chain Management degree preferred
Preferred manufacturing background, particularly in automotive or aerospace.
Experience in shipping and receiving is an asset.
Knowledge of inventory management, including cycle counting and kanban.
Experience with inventory reconciliation.
Accounting background is a plus.
Strong organizational and planning skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
