We are seeking a skilled Planner to join our client in the mining industry based in Papua New Guinea. This is a permanent, full-time position with the opportunity for growth and development in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Role Overview

Collaborate with various departments to ensure timely and efficient execution of project plans. Optional requirement: Trade qualifications in mechanical field or relevant disciplines. 5 years of experience as a Planner in the mining or related industry. Experience in planning/scheduling, raising/closing work orders, and fixed plant maintenance. Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and identify any potential issues. Provide regular reports and updates on project status to stakeholders. Assist with the development and implementation of new planning processes and procedures.

Skills & Qualifications

Proficiency in Primavera 6 and other planning software. Strong understanding of mobilization planning, materials planning, and master planning. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of trade qualifications in mechanical field or relevant disciplines. Experience in planning/scheduling, raising/closing work orders, and fixed plant maintenance.

Education & Experience

Trade qualifications in mechanical field or relevant disciplines. 5 years of experience as a Planner in the mining or related industry.
