Hexcel is currently seeking a Planner for our Salt Lake City, UT, USA, Matrix location.

The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:

Create a production schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecast and customer ordersManage production schedules to support customer requirements and manage inventory to achieve service goals and inventory targetsCreate shop-floor paperwork and provide to operationsCommunicate effectively with other departments, managers, and suppliers to provide support to the overall operation as they work cross functionally on a daily basisCoordinate with planning supervisor to manage deviations from the planOversee internal customer orders/assist with forecastingManage inventory for assigned productsReserve inventory for shipmentsEnsure FIFO & prevent orphaned inventoryPrioritize rework based on shipments

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)3+ years of manufacturing experience & 3-5 years planning/scheduling experienceDemonstrated leadership abilities, and superior communication (oral and written), organization, and interpersonal skillsCurrent computer literacy including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other Microsoft programsWorking knowledge of ERP/MRP systemsAbility to read, analyze and interpret customer specifications and requirementsAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusionsInventory Control Experience/BOM Management experience preferredAPICS Certification preferredProficient in part definition, bills of material, capacity planning preferred
